Bereavement Photography
Harlan’s Heart Photography offers three different selections for bereavement photography:
is a beautiful way to create special and personalized photos. It involves gently posing the infant within a swaddle or outfit, using photography props to capture meaningful and heartfelt images. It's a touching way to honor and remember precious little ones.
is a unique approach when capturing remembrance images. NIP consists of the infant being fully submerged within a small clear tub of saline water, in which photos would be taken through the clear walls of the tub. Saline water provides improved skin quality and bodily structure. Submerging the baby in saline water helps mimic the mother’s womb and aids in creating a vibrant and smooth photo. NIP has the best results for babies who are gestationally at least 16 weeks.
captures the parents and loved ones alongside the infant during the photo session, creating heartfelt and meaningful images that tell a story. Including the family in the photos helps preserve the connection and memories shared during this difficult time.
